Porridge

My absolute favourite breakfast food, delicious and versatile

Porridge or oatmeal is a great way to start the day, it provides you with energy and with the right toppings it never gets boring.

Ingredients

  • 80-100g oats
  • Water or milk (almond, rice, soy)

That’s all you need. Now all you got to do is mix the ingredients together and boil them quickly.

Instructions

  • Boil the oats with the water/milk until you reach the preferred consistency. I like my porridge to be creamy and thick but if you’d like it thinner just add more liquid. I think 80-100g of oats is the perfect amount per person and depending on your mood you either use water or some nice plant milk.
  • It is also quite nice to add some berries in your porridge while you still cook it or some of your favourite protein powder or whatever else you have in your kitchen.
  • As soon as you have the desired consistency remove the pot from the stove and serve it.

Well done, you made porridge. Serve it with your favourite fruits, nuts or seeds and add some agave nectar or syrup if you like it sweeter.
